THE THIRD AFFILIATED HOSPITAL OF SUN YAT-SEN UNIVERSITY

The Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University(formerly the Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhongshan Medical University),founded in 1971, is a first class general hospital of the Guangdong Planning Commission. In recent years, it was awarded many honorary titles, such as“National Baby-Friendly Hospital”,“Guangdong Province Civilized Hospital”,“National Leading Hospital in Culture Development”, and “Advanced Group of National Health System”, etc.

The hospital has four campuses – Tianhe District Hospital(the main hospital), Lingnan Hospital, Yuedong Hospital and Zhaoqing Hospital(under construction). The Tianhe and Lingnan campuses cover an area of 149,000 square meters, and construction area of 271,000 square meters; Yuedong campus covers an area of about 166,000 square meters with a total construction area of 138,000 square meters; the hospital has great scientific strength and human talent.
