PROBLEMS WITH WATER DISPENSERS

Time: 2018-04-18 View: 9682 EDITOR:ACUO WATER DISPENSER

As convenient as water dispensers are, they arenot without problems. Occasionally, problems arise that limit your use of yourwater dispenser. In many cases, you can solve most problems whether your waterdispenser is an instant hot water, a bottled or a refrigerator water dispenser.Calling the manufacturer or hiring a professional is your best bet when itcomes to more serious problems concerning water dispensers

Slow Water Flow

In general, when the water is flowing slowly, your water dispenser is experiencing poor water pressure. One way to solve thisproblem is to look at the connection tubing to see if something is obstructingit. Ensure that the valve is open all the way and that nothing is blocking thewater output.

No Water Flow

If there is no water flowing, check if the watersupply is off or the line tubing connected to the water supply is not cut off.For bottled water dispensers, the problem is sometimes an obvious one, which isan empty water bottle. Just replace the empty bottle with a full water bottle. If this does not solve the problem, call for service. For instant hot waterdispensers, it is possible that mineral deposits are clogging up the tank.Prevent this from happening by changing the filter and cleaning the tank regularly.

Water Is Not Hot

It is possible that your bottled or instant hotwater dispenser is not dispensing hot water because of unplugged or loosenedcord. Plug the cord completely into the power outlet. In some cases the switchisn't on; therefore, the water is not heating up. Other reasons for yourdispenser not to dispense hot water are due to a blown fuse or tripped circuitbreaker. Replacing your house fuse or resetting the circuit breaker will solvethis problem. Too many items plugged into the same circuit may also cause yourpower to trip.
